We had seen it on the Eiffel Tower.

Here is the Concorde Plaza(协和广场), seated in the North of the Seine. This plaza is the biggest and the most beautiful plaza in Paris. It was bult in 1743, the original name was "Louis Fifteen Plaza". In 1795, it was renamed as "Concorde Plaza". Besides, Louis Sixteen was beheaded(斩首) right here.

In the middle of the plaza is this Egyptian stele, which weighs 220 tons, has more than 3400 years' history. It was a gift from Egypt long long ago. It is absolutely real.

On the other side of the plaza, is this pool. I really forget what is its name. I had seen it a lot of times on TV. definitely a famous pool.

Guess where this place is? It is the reception hall of The Louvre(卢浮宫)!!!

The Louvre is the largest musem in the world. It has a collection of about 400 thousand artwork, and "statue of Venus"(维纳斯雕像), "Nike"(胜利女神) & "Mona Lisa"(蒙娜丽莎) are called 'The Three Treasure' in Louvre.

Ever before Louvre was made a musem, it was a palace. The glass pyramid which is the reception hall where i was standing when taking this photo, is the masterpiece of 贝聿铭, a Chinese living in America. This glass pyramid is one of the most elegant & famous architecture in the world. It is one of those few great architectures designed by Chinese. We should feel proud of it. There's also something interesting about this revolving stairs, can u find what it is?

The reception hall of Louvre. It is always this busy. U can find all kinds of ppl here: Yellow, White, Black...whichever u want lol~~~ Everyday this largest musem have to receive thousands of visitors from all of the world.

The first place we visited was the Greece Hall(希腊馆). The average 'age' of these Greek artwork are more than 2000 years old. To note that everything in Louvre is real. There is no fakement in this museum.

Here's the first treasure --- The Statue of Venus!

According to specialists, this sculpture was made about 2000 years ago. Made by Greece, till now its author remains a mystery. Few sculptures in the world can go beyond its artistic value.

Oh by the way, u guys gotta thank for me, it's really hard to take a close shot of Venus...

oh my god they were all made of gold!!! Keep remembering what i said, everything in Lourve is real!

Our tour guide also told us, in order to draw these paintings on the ceiling, many painters were blind. because they can't avoid the dropping paint(油漆) to got into their eyes occasionally, causing their eyes to blind at last.

The second treasure --- "Nike"(胜利女神)

Also made by Greece, but this one is older than Venus, it has a history of 2100 years. She was lack of head and her right wing(in the picture is the left wing). Now her left wing was a repaired one, they don't belong to the original Nike.

Almost forgot to say, we don't know her author neither. it's another mystery.

We entered the French Hall(法国馆) later. Priceless French paintings are everywhere. They brought ppl back to the middle ages.

Different from many domestic museums, Louvre doesn't put protection glass to protect the artworks. u can see it from the picture. It's very easy for visitors to touch them, causing damages. But Louvre insist not to put a glass in front of the artworks, they believe the glass would affect the feeling of enjoy these art. The most important is, they trust the visitors. Of course, some theftproof system(防盗系统) are equipped. If u try to steal something from Louvre, u will be in big trouble

However, there's one exception. "Mona Lisa" was hang on the wall inside a thick bullet-proof glass(防弹玻璃). I will explain later.l

On the left is our special tour guide in Louvre. She's from Taiwan, can speak great French. During the time we visited the Louvre, she just kept talking about this, about that. I really appreciate her knowledge, knowing so much history...

Note that she was talking to a mic. In fact every tourist can get a earphone when enter the museum. It's advantage is obviously, also Louvre is crowded with ppl, but it's not very noisy. The tour guides don't have to speak loudly to ensure everyone can hear what he/she said.
