At last we returned to our hotel. After having breakfast, we were ready to leave and began a new day's tour.

Just before i left i found this on the hotel's wall...

Thanks to this place's fairytale-like environment, i think the countryside in Austria is the most impressive & unforgotten place in the trip.

This is the last picture i took in Austria, i tried to capture the mountains & fog. we left Austria in the morning, heading to the next country - Germany!

After a few hours, we arrived in Munich, Germany.

Germany is in the middle of Europe, it's size of 356970 square kilometers, has a population of 82 million. The first thing i notice about this country is the automobile. Germany is the home of automobile, its automobile industry is leading the world! about 1/7 German r directly or indirectly working for its automobile industry. Here u can see a majority of ppl drive Mercedes-Benz or BMW, while Porsche is fewer. the chance u see a Porsche in Germany is equal to the chance u see a Benz or BMW in Chinese Cities! for me this is a good chance to enjoy the nice cars, how can i miss it?!

The building in the picture is the headquarters of BMW!

we visited the Olympic park in the city. this park was built for the 20th Olympic Game in 1972. with the powerful economy, Germany built the most expensive Olympic Palaestra in mankind history. It's obvious feature is the 'curvous(弯曲的) glass covers', these glass r not normal glass, they r special glass, they r very strong, capable of blocking ultraviolet radiation(紫外线), and heat insulation(隔热).

However, that year's Olympic Game was a tragedy. several Israelite atheletes was kidnapped for hostage by some Palestinian terrorists, the government sent out a squad of special force(特种[屏蔽]) to rescue the hostage, but unfortunately the mission was failed. Palestinian terrorists set off a bomb which killed all the hostage and the squad. This event was also becoming a famous 'failed case'(失败案例) in many countries' special force textbooks.

This is a man-made lake inside the Olympic park. many ducks & geese swam here easygoingly.

The glass covers r very artistic, but they r too expensive.

The main palaestra. we were in a hurry so i just take a few photos. The loudspeaker was saying something in German, but we can't understand what he said. hence we didn't know what these ppl were doing there.

This is a standard Olympic palaestra, it's huge.

the cool guy besides me is our dear driver, Mr. Vincent.
we were accompanied by him through the trip. He's a nice guy, sometimes he would tell us a joke, but we don't find it very funny-_-
he's an italian, but can speak pretty well English, German & French. What's more, as a driver, his driving skill is great that i had not seen anyone like him. He's definitely a smart guy.

This picture was taken on a street of Munich. I think it properly indicates the prosperity of German automobile industry.

This is a BMW motorcycle. it's seldom seen in China, but it's very welcome in Europe. Our tour guide told us a good motorcycle like this one is more expensive than many cars.

We have saw many times that some motorcycle racing on expressways, they r noise, but VERY fast!
