Back to Italy, in the second day, we headed to Florence(italian Firenze).

Florence is the source of renaissance. It's also home of Da Vinci(达芬奇), Michelangelo(米开郎琪罗) & Dante(但丁). Like Rome, Florence is another old city in Italy, but the feelings are different from Rome. It's quieter, much quieter.

A legend family, they did great contribution to Florence. Without them, there won't be Da Vinci. Also, the English word "Medicine" comes from this family.

The most interesting thing about Florence is its narrow streets. This picture shows the typical sight of Florence. All cars is crowed in the street. This is a historical problem. In fact, Florence was built before vehicle was invented! The streets was originally designed for carriages(马车).

百花大教堂(Italian 'Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore)

Built in 1296, famouse for the fresco "The Last Judgement".

Beside the church is the 乔托钟楼.

Its architectural style is rare.

It's located in front of the church. Made of gold.

The doodling(涂鸦) in Europe is easy to find. Some of them are art work!

There won't be anybody to blame u if u paint on the wall.

In the afternoon, we left florence, went to the Pisa city.

Take a closer look of the Pisa tower. U can see in the bottom-left of the picture, the tower was being repaired.

Doodling culture in Pisa city's street. They r nice.

It's on the third day's morning, we set out to Venice, city of water.

On the way there, i happen to see a train runing with our bus side by side. It's an electricity-driven train, pretty advanced. Europe have the best train network. Many tourists take trains instead of buses.
