Eiffel Tower took its name from its designer, Mr. Eiffel (1832-1923)

When right after Eiffel Tower was built, the citizen of Paris did not like it. they thought this tower was so ugly, they couldn't accept it. it tooks years for ppl to become adapted. Now the Eiffel Tower have already become the symbol of Paris. This is art. There is no absolutely right or wrong art. Only those art whether or not accepted by the ppl.

Mega structure, high into the clouds.

From the previous pictures u may find the tower have three platforms.
When we were queuing for the elevator i took this photo. Note the electrical board, it shows the prices from the ground to different platforms. To the 1st platform costs 4.00 Euro-dollars, to the 2nd one costs 7.30 Euro-dollars and to the 3rd one costs 10.40 Euro-dollars. We planned to go to the 2nd one.

Here we were. Paris was under the foot of us.
Do u see the house with a golden cover on the right? that building is the Napoleon's Tomb. I have a closer picture, i will post it later.

This is not an ordinary river. It is Seine!(塞纳河)

A close photo of Eiffel Tower's elevator. its elevator have been used for more than a hundred years! Look at the gear wheel, how classical!

There were some telescope provided. But they were not free, they require coins. so we didn't use them.

since most buildings in Europe are very old. tall buildings are very few. Paris is a typical example.

This tower is a giant steel monster. i can't believe it was built in the 19th century.

Instead of taking the elevator to get back to the ground, me and some friends chose to 'climb' down. The chance to be in Europe is really small. We didn't want to miss any experience.

ya that's right. Besides, i use 'Maxthon' instead of 'Internet Explorer'. Maxthon can refresh web pages automatically. so my online time keep growing~~~
