Very good Sunday morning to you. I am \ at the CNN center in Atlanta. Let’s take a look at what’s happening right NOW IN THE NEWS.

Officials are now talking to a man and a woman who went overboard from a Grand Princess Cruise ship and happened at Gulf of Mexico of the Texas coast. The two passengers reportedly fell from a liner both were rescued hours after they were reported missing. The ship is on its way to Cozimile, Mexico. The man and the woman are said to be in their twenties. The coast guards use a helicopter and a jet to look for the two passengers. And boats from the ship also helped in the search.

At least a dozen Indiana counties are under flood warnings after days of heavy rain. The White River is moving fast and predicted to crest above 19 feet today. Authorities have had to close several roads in north at Indianapolis. They are warning drivers not to ignore road closing signs. So far there are no reports of evacuations, injuries, or deaths.

Governor \ is scheduled to get a close sub look at the tornado damage in Clovis, New Mexico today. At least 13 twisters ripped through the state on Friday destroying about 100 homes and businesses and injuring dozens of people. Authorities say the worst damage is in Clovis and in Logan. About two dozens mobile homes and campus were destroyed. Officials say cleanup could take five to six months. The governor has ordered soldiers from the New Mexico Army National Guard to provide support in Clovis.

Japan’s meteorological agency is saying that a strong aftershock has followed a 6.7 earthquake. One woman was killed in that main quake and more than 150 were injured. The quake also triggered landslides and cut off water supplies to thousands of homes.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in the Middle East today trying to get Arab countries to recommit to peace with Israel. Today she spoke with Egyptian President \. She said the U.S. is committed to making the two states solution work for Palestinian and Israels. Rice is also visiting Israel and Palestinian territories today to try to kick start the Middle East peace process.
