Responsibility：
• Software design in GSM, CDMA, UMTS & NGN projects
Requirements：
• Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or other related majors
• Solid knowledge of, C/C++ or related programming language is a must
• Solid knowledge of OS, such as Unix, Linux or Vxworks, etc.
• Knowledge of Computer networking is an asset
• CET-6 holder preferred with good spoken English
Product Test Engineer
Work Location：Guangzhou
Responsibilities：
• Test/verify Nortel’s CDMA/NGN/GSM/3G UMTS product against specified requirements
• Find defects in the product so that they are not delivered to the customer
• Support customer testing and/or demonstrations
• Maintain and manage test bed environment during product test activities
• Solidify interfaces to other development organizations
Requirements：
• Bachelor degree or above, major in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
• Telecommunications technology background (e.g. NGN/ GSM / GPRS networks, CDMA, WCDMA, etc) is preferred
• Solid knowledge of UNIX, C/C++, Java and IP network is preferred
• Fluent English, CET 6 is preferred
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated and can work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Windows system administrator
(Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibilities:
• Windows applications deployment. Included Exchange, SMS, WSUS, anti-virus etc.
• Windows servers maintenance;
• Backup solution and SAN/NAS maintenance;
• Second line helpdesk support;
• Cooperate or performing internal/external audit activity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master degree, major in Computer network or relative subject
• Training certification holder in the relative area is preferred.
• With experience in LAN or WAN design and maintenance.
• Experienced in Windows platform maintenance and its applications;
• Familiar with TCP/IP protocol and troubleshooting skill.
• Know well in LDAP/RADIUS authentication method and its application, have experience in 802.1x deployment is preferred.
• Have basic knowledge in Web development and database management.
• Know well in system security, common threats and its defense.
• Good command of reading and writing English.
Lab System Installation & Commission Engineer
(Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibilities:
• Lab System Installation Engineer
• Execute and supervise on lab system installation
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master degree, Majored in Telecommunication
• Training and Certificate in GSM/UMTS/CDMA is preferred
• Experience in telecommunication system setup/maintenance is preferred
• Solid knowledge on Telecommunication/Computer Network systems
• Rich knowledge on SS7/IP/ATM
• GSM/UMTS/CDMA experience is an asset
• Good English skill in reading, writing and speaking
• Provide system installation support for GLO projects
Network administrator
(Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibilities:
• GDNT R&D LAN/WAN administrator
• LAN/WAN deployment, management and troubleshooting;
• Information security control and management;
• Cooperate or performing internal/external audit activity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master degree, major in Computer network or relative subject
• Training certification holder in the relative area is preferred.
• With experience in LAN or WAN design and maintenance.
• Experienced in Windows and Linux platform maintenance and its applications.
• Good comprehension in TCP/IP protocol;
• Master OSPF, RIP routing protocol and their configuration; have experience in 802.1x deployment is preferred.
• Have knowledge in network security in theory, common threats and its defense.
• Good command of reading and writing English.
UNIX System Administrator (Configuration Administrator)
(Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibilities:
• Unix system & ClearCase administration
• Design environment support
• Project handling
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relative majors.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in Unix ( HP-UX, Solaris, Linux) system administration.
• Good in shell script, C++, Perl programming.
• Experience in Configuration management (ClearCase) and development/compiling tools is preferred
• Good self-study capability, being initiative.
• Fluent English, CET-6 holder preferred
GSM/UMTS lab support Engineer
(Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibilities:
• Lab operation for GSM/UMTS lab.
• Troubleshooting for GSM/UMTS equipment.
• Lab test environment setup and monitor.
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master degree, majored in Telecommunication or Computer Science
• Wireless network experience is preferred.
• CET-6 holder preferred with good spoken English.
Wireless Testing Tool Support Engineer
(Work location: Guangzhou)
Job responsibilities:
• To provide the GSM/CDMA Testing Tool support & troubleshooting
• As a prime for release upgrade and maintenance
• To do the sanity testing to ensure the system stable and well
• As a coordinator to work with support of the Nortel Lab for resource arrangement and issue tracking
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above, majored in Telecommunication / Electronic engineering / Computer science or related
• Good knowledge on GSM/CDAM Testing Tool system / platform with solid operating skill and other soft exchange system
• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Vxworks or other PC is an asset
• CET-6 and Fluent English
