NBC Olympics is the US Rights Holding TV broadcaster for the Beijing Olympic
s Games of year 2008. We will present more than 3,600 hours of coverage in th
e U. S during Olympics period of time.

Here is an exciting note from Jeff Zucker, President and CEO, NBC Universal:

“Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, new records will be broken on the track, in the
swimming pool … and in broadcasting history. We’re presenting more than 3,
600 hours of coverage, triple the amount from Athens just three years ago and
more than the total of every Summer Olympics ever televised in the U.S. put
together. Also, despite the 12-hour time difference, NBC in primetime will fe
ature live coverage of marquee Olympic sports including swimming, gymnastics,
and beach volleyball. We’ll be delivering the Games around the clock, acros
s every platform: online with live streaming Olympic video for the first time
in the U.S., on-demand, and even on-the-go, with the first-ever wireless cov
erage of the Olympics.”
