The FOMA SH902i manufactured by Sharp for NTT DoCoMo is the first Sharp phone to utilize Symbian OS.

It offers a 2.4 inch high quality QVGA screen which can be angled to ensure the best viewing position as well as enabling users to move and angle the screen when taking video or photographs. This feature also ensures that screen content remains private as the screen is unreadable unless viewing it at a user-set angle. Contrast and brightness can also be modified either manually or automatically depending on conditions. The phone will also automatically change light settings to ensure that battery life is not drained.

Part of the 902i series, the SH902i offers users the option to experience a number of new services from NTT DoCoMo, including the PushTalk a walkie-talkie-style communication service, with users being able to contact up to 4 other 902i series users by simply pushing the Talk button to display a directory of other users.
The series will be compatible with DoCoMo's new Multi number service, which will enable up to three phone numbers to be assigned to the same handset.

The FOMA? SH702iD is the second Symbian OS-based phone manufactured by Sharp for NTT DoCoMo’s 3G FOMA network and at launch was the smallest FOMA model at a mere 89g.

One of the three 702i series phones designed by famous Japanese designers, the SH702iD was designed by Shin Matsunaga an award-winning graphic artist and international member of the New York Art Directors Club. The design and fonts are coordinated with the body design so the design carries through every aspect of the phone from form to look and content.

The phone features Sharp’s Live illumi?, 8 colored lights, 8 patterns and 3 modes that identify handset actions such as incoming/making calls and music playback.

This is the first 70x series to offer automatic Security Scan, which uses automatic downloads in the background to update phones with the latest security software from DoCoMo.

The Music Porter II manufactured by Mitsubishi for NTT DoCoMo is a small, slim mobile phone for the music lover on the move.

The Music Porter II features power consumption technology equal to portable music players, lengthening battery life to up to 20 hours of continuous music, 140 minutes of talktime or 30 hours of FM radio listening. This is almost 6 hours of music more than previous Music PORTER models.

Music can be purchased from the Mora service or loaded from CDs or computers. The Music Porter II automatically converts loaded music to one of the wide variety of music formats including MP3, Atrac3 and Atrac3plus. It also offers an FM tuner.
