枪炮玫瑰诞生于1985年的好莱坞，是美国摇滚乐史上继性g.u-n以来最受争议的乐队，乐队是由两支乐队L.A.GUNS和AXL.ROSE合并而成的，因此双主唱“枪”和“玫瑰”的完美和音一直是枪炮玫瑰的招牌特色。出道之初就被全美传媒冠上“新世代的齐柏林”的封号，他们的快歌令人血脉贲张，他们的芭乐歌照样令人感动万千，举凡所有关于摇滚乐的火力、热力、[屏蔽]力、原创性、致命性、边缘性、争议性，Guns N' Roses样样具备，所发表的五张专辑、一张EP跟一张现场演唱专辑，张张都是“滚石[屏蔽]”4星级或5星级的满分评鉴，更是名列Q、Spin等各大[屏蔽]80/90年代重量级作品名单。
枪炮玫瑰最具影响力的曲目是“DON'T CRY”和“NOVEMBER RAIN”（后面一首歌因出色的歌词获得了美国最佳社会先驱奖），“DON'T CRY”在billboard排行榜上停留将近3年（147）周，创下了摇滚乐的神话.DON'T CRY这首歌中枪花乐队一改从前的愤怒激烈，两名主唱一沧桑一哀婉低吟出一段令荡气回肠的柔情曲，而歌曲表达出的无奈和失意正是愤怒的极至阿。
