[转]在中国，知道The Wallflowers的[屏蔽]概不多，知道Jakob Dylan的人就更少了。但是，知道Bob Dylan的人却不在少数，它们的关系是这样的：Bob Dylan的儿子是Jakob Dylan，Jakob Dylan是The Wallflowers的主唱。尽管关系是这样的，但是，在听The Wallflowers的音乐时不要把The Wallflowers或Jakob Dylan与Bob Dylan联系在一起，尽管他看上去很像他的父亲，尽管Jakob也像他的父亲一样抱着吉他。
The Wallflowers立足洛杉矶，但音乐却源自纳什维尔、新奥尔良和新泽西，音乐风格也是乡村音乐、摇滚乐和民歌的融合体。1992年，它们出版了第一张同名专辑，但没有什么反响。这是The Wallflowers的第二张专辑，担任制作人的T-Bone Burnett恰恰是当年Bob Dylan巡回演出时Rolling Thunder乐队的吉他手。T-Bone Burnett的参与，使这张专辑比起他们的第一张专辑更根源一些。
Wallflowers的存在势必会备受关注，因其灵魂人物Jakob Dylan正是民谣摇滚巨星Bob Dylan之子。不过当Wallflowers 92年发行首张专辑即获得滚石[屏蔽]三颗半星的鼓励、96年凭借着白金专辑《Bringing Down The Horse》获得格兰美最佳摇滚团体奖的殊荣之后，这个于洛杉矶酒馆发迹的乐团终于能够开展独当一面的创作天赋与真正属于他们的音乐风景。
从这里开始就不是转的了哈，其实wallflowers的风格在于朋克，摇滚与乡村之间，多多少少还是有点受BOB的影响，但是儿子明显要ROCK得多。听他们的歌，心理不存在什么负担，就是非常纯正的朋克风格，歌曲中的内容也大多是让人奋发向上，或者是振奋人心的东西。在我看来这是一个非常阳光的乐队，不会一天到晚爱来爱去的让人听着郁闷。
试听的歌是来自于red letter days(假日）专辑里面的主打第一首when you're on top，说的就是在成功了后的愉快放松的心情。jakob的嘶哑的嗓音给人一种暖阳的感觉，整首歌都很舒服。下面放出歌词哈：
