We have learned the House Judiciary Committee has served a subpoena to Attorney General AG seeking new documents related to firings of US attorneys. G is under pressure to resign after Justice Department document show he was more involved in the firings of some US prosecutors than he previously knowledged. Some Democrats have charged firings were politically motivated.

More bad news for some US military family today. It appears 15,000 US troops may not be coming home on time. The top general in Iraq DP is asking Defense Secretary RG to extend their tour of duty by 4 month. P is trying to keep troop levels higher through the summer.

Authorities in Turkey are questioning a man they believed hijacked a passenger plane. Officials say he threatened to blow up the plane if pilots didn't divert it to Iran. It landed at A Airport, there're no reports of injuries.

We could find out today who is the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter. A / court is expected to release the results of DNA test this afternoon. Today's hearing will only determine whether Smith's former boyfriend LB is the father.
