Alessio and Riccardo, always in our hearts
It was one month ago, on the 15th December, that both Juventus and the entire sporting world wept together for the tragic loss of Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri, two young stars from the Bianconeri Berretti, two young boys of just sixteen.
The news broke at the Stadio Olimpico, moments before the match with Cesena was due to begin, and no one felt it right to take to the field.
Today, a month on from that tragic evening, Juventus remember Alessio and Riccardo. “What happened was a drama for all of us - said Mister Deschamps - We will never be able forget, but we’re doing our best to look ahead”.
We will try to do so tomorrow, when the Olimpico plays host to Cesena and the thoughts of everyone turn to Alessio and Riccardo and their families once more. We will try, but it won’t be easy.
