Software Engineer
Location: Hangzhou, China/Beijing, China / Mclean, USA

Role and Responsibility:
•    Design, code, debug, and test software components and product features on iOS, Windows and various Unix/Linux platforms independently in a high-availability, high performance environment
•    Implement MicroStrategy product features through entire lifecycle of feature development. This includes contribution on feature design specifications, development time estimation, code implementation of functionality, testing, analysis and optimization on the implementation
•    Work closely with other team members, including engineers, managers and architects from MicroStrategy headquarters
•    Have the ability and desire to assimilate and apply knowledge as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor, Master or PhD graduates from top universities in Computer Science field. GPA 3.5+ out of 4.0, or 80+ out of 100
•    Strong knowledge on data structures, algorithms, operating system and other computer science fundamentals
•    Fluency in object-oriented programming languages, such as C++, Objetive C, and Java. Strong object-oriented design and programming skills
•    Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
•    Strong oral and written communication skills in English
•    Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills
•    Familiarity with mobile application, database system, distributed system and cloud computing is highly desirable


Software Engineer in Test
Location: Hangzhou, China/Beijing, China

Role and Responsibility:
•    Contribute, as part of a team, towards organizational goal of providing high quality products
•    Design, maintain, and execute test cases using knowledge of feature specifications
•    Identify and generalize test automation needs, design, implement and maintain automation
•    Test and evaluate, through all stages of the software lifecycle, MicroStrategy products that are used by both business users and IT professionals
•    Work with software engineers located at the China Technology Center and US Headquarter to analyze test results and debug problems
•    Address complicated product or customer issues through working with internal or external customers on request basis

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Engineering field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science with good academic background. GPA 3.5+ out of 4.0, or 80+ out of 100
•    Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
•    Strong oral and written communication skills in English
•    Ability to work well in a team as well as cross-team collaboration skills
•    Ability to pay close attention to details as well as to see a bigger picture of tasks
•    Demonstrable experience or knowledge in one or more IT areas: Programming languages, such as C#/.NET, C/C++, Java, or scripting languages such as Perl/Ruby, etc; Database system(architecture, ODBC and SQL); System administration (Unix, Windows, TCP/IP); Software testing



Technical Support Engineer
Location: Hangzhou, China

Role and Responsibility:

•    Provide complex and challenging support of the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence product suite and its underlying technologies via phone, and email. The Technical Support Engineer will utilize various tools such as Microsoft Live Meeting, VMWare and other tools to aid in this process
•    Work with customers at all levels of development to help them build and maintain their production reporting environment
•    Find creative and sophisticated solutions to problems reported while using MicroStrategy’s product suite through analytical talent and strong troubleshooting abilities
•    Work with a team of diverse engineers (both regionally, and globally) to provide unparalleled support to customers in a wide variety of industries
•    Prioritize and communicate product defects and enhancements to development teams
•    Contribute to research and growth of the MicroStrategy Knowledge Base by creating customer-facing documentation
•    Enhance personal and professional growth by participating in Internal Training Programs, which offer a three-week technical orientation program as well as regular training for all team members



Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
•    Strong technical and analytical skills
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Candidate must be fluent in English
•    Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin, Japanese or Korean is a plus
•    Customer service experience preferred
•    Database (SQL, RDBMS) knowledge is a plus
•    Internet Technology (Java, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, etc.) knowledge is a plus
•    SAP BW knowledge is a plus
•    Network technology knowledge is a plus
