I know I have to go. 最爱的MV之一，MV朴实而感人。歌曲讲述了渴望寻求梦想的儿子与一再挽留他的父亲之间的观念冲突。心怀梦想的儿子看到了外面精彩的世界，并被美好梦想所深深吸引，迫切地想要离开家园去寻找属于自己的天空。然而，父亲希望儿子能够像自己一样过一种平平静静的生活，他循循善诱，向儿子讲述他“平淡是真”的人生哲学，但是儿子并没有认同父亲的观点。因为从小就对父母言听计从，使他没有机会实现自己的想法，这让他感到非常痛苦。现在，梦想的道路就在自己脚下，他不想像父亲一样过着平庸的生活，他说服了父亲并决定离开，开始展开新的旅途，尽管未来还有很多未知的风险。

Father and son是英国著名民谣歌手Cat Stevens于1970年创作的一首经典的歌曲，曾由Boyzone重新演绎，也成为Boyzone最受欢迎的曲目之一，Boyzone解散后，Ronan Keating邀请原唱Yusuf Islam(也就是Cat Stevens)共同演绎了这首感人至深的民谣作品。
Yusuf Islam原名Cat Stevens，一生颇具神秘色彩，他本是英伦60年代著名的流行偶像，20岁如日中天之际突然神秘退出歌坛，几年后再度出山，却改头换面，玩起了民谣，而且玩出了大名堂，事业大成之际又断然退出歌坛，皈依真主，开始潜心研究[屏蔽]教。
