A suicide bomber struck inside Iraq’s parliament building in Baghdad heavily fortified green zone just as Iraqi lawmakers were heading in for lunch. 8 people were killed, including 2 law makers. Iraqi officials are still trying to determine whether the attack was an in-site job. After the attack, more explosives were found near the parliament room they were destroyed.

And a man in Columbus, Ohio was accused of joining Al Qaeda and conspiring to bomb U.S., European, and military targets overseas. A federal grand jury indicted Christopher Paul yesterday. That indictment says Paul to Al Qaeda members in Pakistan and Afghanistan that he was dedicated committing violent jihad holy war.

And the outrage over Don Imus’s controversial comment is still growing, the radio talk show host‘s forty year career now in jeopardy. The _____held the rally outside CBS radios New York Studio today to column that was to ditch Imus as well. Yesterday MSNBC announced there’s no longer simulcast Imus in morning radio show which is indicated by CBS radio.

On capital hill, there is another battle brewing between democratic congress and President Bush over stem cell research. The president vows to veto once again the bill that will allow federal funding for embryonic stem-cell research. Senate Democrat pushed the bill through yesterday but not by a veto proof margin. President Bush opposes federal support of the research because it involves destroying human embryos. Though Scientists say those stem cells could help fight many incurable diseases.

You may be able to buy beer 24 hours a day seven days a week. Inventors in the Czech Republic have developed the vending machine that will dispense beer. They say electronically read the person’s ID to check for minors and ask why they would develop such machine. One of the inventors said the checks are the world leaders in beer drinking. That machine by the way won’t stop you from ____.
