1、        all my eyes鬼话连篇，胡说八道，瞎扯

这条成语已有三百多年的历史。原指不是出于内心的眼泪.

据说有一个英国水手到一个外国教堂做礼拜，听到有人祈祷说“O grant me aid blessed St.Martin”他跟着祈祷，听起来好像说“All my eyes and Betty Martin！”把原意改了，变成了“胡说八道”。

例：That story is all my eyes.

2、        the apple of one's eye掌上明珠，珍爱的人或物

这里的apple是指瞳孔，是眼睛里最敏感最珍贵的部分。

例：The little girl was the apple of her grand parents'eye.

3、        cast sheep's eyes暗送秋波，以目传情

羊一般是斜视的，本条成语也是忸怩、害羞和局促不安。

例：Mr.Woolley sat casting sheep's eyesat the curate's daughter all the evening.

4、have/cast an evil eye on someone不怀好意地注视某人

  此成语源于传说，女巫有能给人一瞥而加害人的毒眼。

  例：I have a fear that he has an evil eye on me.
