Hi, everyone! At the end of an extraordinary week, you can't help but be struck by how much tragedy history has been made in the 3rd week of April. Yesterday April 19th, we marked the 12th anniversary at the bombing of Oklahoma City. The same day we marked the 14th anniversary of the saw on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. Today is the 8-year anniversary of the Columbine shootings and then Virginia Tech. all the people who have been touched by those tragedies can't help but wonder why they happened, why they lost those they loved. For so many the graving goes on. XX wrote that April is the cruelest month. Right now few Americans would disagree. During this cruelest month as we mark all the sad anniversaries, we remember all those who were lost and quietly extend our sympathies to all those who grave. That’s a page from my notebook.
