Job Title: R&D Engineer, Hardware Design (FPGA)
Job Description
-   Work with system design architect to understand design requirement and define the design architecture for FPGA subsystems and interconnections.
-   Evaluate and select suitable FPGA solutions with optimized speed, size and cost to meet the design requirements.
-   Develop FPGA codes, perform simulation/synthesis and implement the FPGA hardware solution into the electronic system
-   Search and innovate new methods/techniques/solutions of DSP to elevate the design competency to achieve better product design.
-   Perform characterization and testing of design prototypes, analyze and validate the design to meet product performance specifications.
-   Constantly on the search and innovation of new methods/technologies/solutions to elevate design competency for test & measurement products.

Requirement
-   Masters/PhD. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
-   Experience in design of FPGA/ASIC and implementation at system level.
-   Proficient in VHDL/Verilog coding, logic simulation, synthesis and familiar with design tools Xilinx ISE or Altera Quartus II, Modelsim and Synplify Pro.
-   Experience using equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for problem resolution and design verification.
-   Knowledgeable in LAN/GPIB/USB/PCI standards, high-speed digital and memory systems.
-   Skills in DSP algorithm development and DSP implementation using FPGA will be added advantage.

Position 2:
Job Title: R&D Engineer, Hardware Design (Digital or Analog)
Job Description
-   Define and design key circuit block diagrams and hardware/system architecture and contribute to the definition of product specifications.
-   Responsible for circuit design and schematic capture of:
-   digital systems including microcontroller/microprocessor, memory devices, I/O, control and data communication interfaces and DSP   and/or
-   analog/instrumentation systems including power supply/regulator, ADC/DAC and signal conditioning (eg. amplifier, impedance matching, filter, switch and PLL/oscillator/clock circuits)
-     Bring up new electronic circuit board design, perform simulation, schematic capture and work with PCB engineer to design board layout to meet the design turn schedule.
-     Perform characterization and evaluation of design prototypes, analyze and validate the design to meet product performance specifications.
-   Actively involved in various product development phases, from conceptual design, feasibility studies, prototyping to shipment.

Requirement
-   Masters/PhD. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
-   Digital Design – Experience in design of digital and/or high-speed digital electronic systems and hardware architectures.   Proficient in development tools such as MathCad, Matlab/Simulink and Signal Processing.  
-   Analog Design – Experience in design of analog electronic systems and hardware architectures. Proficiency in modeling & simulation tools such as PSpice, Matlab/Simulink, Hyperlynx and ADS.
-   Experience using equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer for problem resolution and design verification.
-   Proficiency in EDA tools such as Mentor Graphics Design Architect/Board Station, Cadence or Orcad.
-   Knowledge in PCB design, signal integrity, DFM and EMC/RFI regulations will be added advantage.
FPGA = Field Programmable Gate Array
DSP = Digital Signal Processing

Position 3
Job Title: Applications Software development Engineer

Job Description:
This position is for software development engineer who will be responsible for the creation of Advanced, State of Art software Applications/Customer specific solutions in the Test and Measurement environment.

Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include:
•   Involve in software development projects through the design and development cycle. From the feasibility phase through to concept, implementation and testing/defect resolution phases.
•   Apply software configuration management tools for documentation and revision control.
•   Design, develop, and verify softwaret tools, which help improve productivity such as reuse and the development of common class libraries.
•   Design and develop solutions consist of templates, interactive configuration systems, installable programs, software troubleshooting tools, software automation etc.
•   Perform software testing involving Regression, Functional tests and etc.
•   Provide communications, support, documentation, and training as and when needed to ensure the successful implementation of new test solutions and processes.

Job Requirement:
•   Masters/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering with minimum 2 years related experience.
•   Strong knowledge of Labview/VEE, C++/ C#, VB and the .NET environment.
•   Experience in detailed s/w characterization, documentation and technical writing.
•   Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
•   Demonstrate a high level of analytical ability to solve day-to-day software development issues.
•   Able to assess test complexity to provide accurate setting of project timelines.
•   Individuals with strong test and software development skills are ADDED advantage.

Position 4
Job Title: R&D Engineer, Mechanical Design
Job Description:
•   Translate marketing requirements and technical requirements into mechanical designs.
•   Conceptualize, design and analyze prototype; test and buy-off designs.
•   Work with Materials department and suppliers to ensure cost effective designs in line with supply chain, in terms of fabrication of parts and local availability of materials.
•   Back up designs through documentation of CAD files and test reports.
•   Liaise between Agilent and outsourced design/ fabrication houses.
•   Constantly search for new tools/ methods/ technologies to elevate design charter.
Requirement:
•   PhD/ Master in Mechanical Engineering.
•   Fresh graduates as well as experienced engineers will be considered.
•   Experience with some of the following design tasks: injection molded plastics, die-castings, extrusions, elastomeric parts, sheet metal parts, metal stampings, interconnects, electro-mechanical parts and RF shielding.
•   Experience in RF/ Microwave design is an added advantage.
•   Good understanding of material suitability in manufacturing and finishing processes to fabricate designed parts.
•   Understand Design For Manufacturability and Assembly principles.
•   Proficiency with CAE (structural, thermal, vibrational FEA, Computational Fluid Dynamics) tools to assure design integrity is a definite plus.
•   Team player who can establish good rapport with various functions (Materials and Manufacturing, Project Management, EE and suppliers).
