And it's time again for storycorps traveling the country we are recording people talking about their lifes. Tom Morgan told his story about in American Kentucky. He came to the story corps with his friend Tracy Rose. Tom Morgan was 69 years old at the time and suffering from emphysema. His healthy was failing. And here he remembers his father. My father was James Blain Morgan, and everybody called him BG, I don't where the nick name came from. Everybody telled those stories about my dady if I went to lunch, I went to coffee. I got BG story. And my father was fallen unaware when I remembered my life.He was.. to catch father I wish I could be to my son. Satisfied with my life a day my father dead. My father was intensive care. He was on machines. The doctor came along and said, "we can keep him alive. We may get him back out of this; we may not." But my dad was longer and there was an old statement, "if the lead team can't pull the wagon, don't hitch it up". And I look at him said This is his statement, that's my statement. Unplug the man. Let him die with dignity. If he made it, fine. If he doesn't at least let him die with dignity. That almost was5 years, I woke up in the middle of night, just cold sweat. My extra wife reached over and touched me and said,"BG is dead and goodbye to sleep."

You were an oxygen man as I know? I did. So all have been very very likely...that's happened. Are you afraid of death? I look forward to death. Why? //Matter of curiosity. I just think there would be a better life. Do you have any regrets at all? I can pick out of dozen of problems, do you? But I always have the theory that if you don't try//, wouldn't you regretly say I could have. But if I // die, I wouldn't regretly // say," I did //." I might not have done it well but I did it.
