Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to this class.
1.Daily Office Operation
Using a multi-line telephone, answers and appropriates routes all incoming calls on the office’ general line; receives and greets visitors to the office; directs visitors to their proper destination; in accordance with corporate policies and practices and management direction, provides general information regarding office functions and responds to routine inquiries from customers and the public; refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests to appropriate staff.
Performs other office support functions, examples of which include maintaining the office activity calendar by reserving dates, times, and venue for staff and visitors; sorting and distributing incoming mails and posting and delivering outgoing mail; distributing copies of materials; maintaining applicable records and files; ordering office supplies; reviewing publications and newspaper for clips relevant to the company and assisting with newsletter content-building.
2.Business support
Provides assistance to the Administrative Assistant in booking hotel, airline tickets, and restaurants for all staff, sorting sales data, and coordinating marketing event.
Qualifications:
1+ year related work experience is preferred. Good English skills including writing, reading, and listening. Candidate must be a team player. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred. A BA/BS degree preferred.
