5come5帮你背单词 [ below /bi'ləu/ prep. 在…下面,下方;adv. 在下面,向下 ]

At Google, employees get free food, free doctors’ visits, and can spend up to 20% of their time working on independent projects. For a tech company, it has a collegiate atmosphere, which is part of the reason why college students have ranked it all the way up at No.2 on the annual Universum survey.

Mountain View California, is the home of the Googleplex, and about 6,500 of the company’s 10,000 employees. The Goog offers its people several work-life benefits like: colorful cafeterias, stuff with free food, work spaces adorned \ with pool tables, massage chairs, and the occasional pet, and of course no office/ is complete\ without a lap pool, gym, or beach volleyball court.

I mean I feel like Google is taking such \ good care of me, and helping me learn and helping me..., sure I am happy, and I’m growing as a person and I can’t help but, but wanna give Google my best.

This is one of the companies / I have been with the\ longest, and it’s the culture that’s really kept me here.

And it’s the culture that keeps applications coming in. Over 1.1 million candidates apply to be a googler in 2006.

We look for people that have the basic skills that are necessary \ to build some of the largest computer systems in the world.

Most people know Goolge for this, its website, but the company’s money is made from these: web-ads, and helping advertisers find ways to get their ads in front of customers.

Our approach has been to hire the smartest people we can, and then point them at alias of problems, saying that, you know what, this is \ strategically important to the company, why don't you go back, figure it out, come back, and let’s launch it.

But as smart as a candidate may be, it’s a candidate’s googliness that ultimately gets them the job.

And I think some of the key elements of what a googly individual would be is somenone who is flexible, and he/ focuses on just getting things done, doesn’t worry about er… who / they are working with and the politics of the titles and stature. And he is someone who is just efficient, and scrappy, and resourceful.

To find out more about Google, or how to become a new-gler, a new employee, just follow / links right here on our website, Sean O’Grady, CareerTV, Mountain View California.
