旋律和词的部分是基诺乐队在北京录音期间完成的。当时每晚的录音工作如果没有太多需要主唱谢欣协助的，他便会溜出去在鼓楼东大街上一个人散布，北京的冬季凌晨三四点街上空无一人，忽然想起早年见出gate旅行的那些奇妙想法。
02 Goodbye Victoria
“如果一切不是终结而仅仅是告别，那么请平和乐观地看待你所重视的事物，尽管它也许只是曾经。”
拥有大提琴演奏基础的吉他手胡坤写完这首作品的一小部分之后，基诺三个人惊喜的发现这便是他们当时非常想要的东西，与以往作品完全不同的作品，也可看作基诺对未来的音乐前进方向所作的试探。
03 白昼
“是谁在夜空仰望，那不曾到来的白昼，那些期待已久的光芒，何时才肯万丈？”
本张唱片中最热血的一首作品，当所有声响同时奏起，已分辨不出哪里是夜空，哪里是白昼，模糊的影像消失在一片苍茫中，只希望一直期待的所有光芒一同绽放，即使结局……
04 Lust for life
“轻盈曼妙的迎面走来，擦肩而过，我已无法轻易将你辨认
基诺乐队的前身曾发表过的同名作品，在录制专辑之前，几乎是瞬间的才情迸发，完全并与前作一样的歌词却展现出完全不一样的基诺式迷人风情以及略带反讽意味的吉他SOLO；至于之前那个版本的，有心者找来听到，也许会觉得用“进化”来形容基诺的成长再合适不过。
05 礼物
“即便你听不见，也请让我永远的唱下去”
主唱谢欣为一位关系密切的朋友的母亲所写，在吉他手胡坤与贝斯手张裔的不同情绪和理解下制作成为现在你所听到的样子。从你下决心要做的时候起，礼物便拥有他本身不可更改的意义，那与礼物本身是怎样的并无关系，发自内心的想法便是最好的礼物，无论它是否足够精美，是否及时传达。
06 从巴黎到伦敦
“关于未来的美好，也许谁都曾怀疑过，但你我仍愿意为它而狂奔“
在不同的年龄里和不同的心境下，对青春期的缅怀和告别总会有所不同，而对未来的期待总是惊人的一致，只是这一切在基诺看来，更多了更几份稳重与自信。

“是谁做了那么多无聊的假设，甚至将自己都假设作从来未曾存在过”
平时总会遇到愿意让自己生活在在谎言里的人，他们不可自拔的欺骗自己与他人，也许点到为止的讽刺能够起到一些积极作用，也许吧。

“几乎是很多人的真实经历”
生活在都市中的人总会觉得有很多话想说，平时总是牢[屏蔽]满腹，反倒在真的需要说些什么的时候一时语塞，这其中的原因似乎简单一两句话并不能够解释清楚，于是更多的时候，我们集体失语。

“讲述短暂恋爱的经过”
转瞬即逝的爱情有时候在电影里出现，有时候在生活中出现。
10 Lost in translation
“迷人而又怪异，令人迷惘、失去方向，身在其中，寂寞、孤立”
名字来自那部很多人都喜欢的电影，讲述的是一个奇怪的梦，梦里面一切都是白色，说的是人与人之间交流和理解所产生的距离和疏远。
11 Under the water
“Hope you and I never die.”
有感于环保问题的一首作品，只有短短两句。有些时候，关于环保这个话题真的不需要借助太多的环保组织，当你发自内心的想要保护环境，你就已经比任何的环保组织都要强大了。

来自武汉的基诺乐队可能是目前中国地区最与众不同的年轻乐队。
受英国音乐影响颇深的基诺乐队在跳脱英国音乐表面框架的同时，试图将自身的特点融合入他们所创造的音乐之中，以产生不同于别人的独特气质。首张专辑《再见！维多利亚》是他们首次正式发表自己的作品，这张拥有11首曲目的完整专辑所要表现的并非狂妄的信心与坚强的斗志，而是在试图挥手作别，与往日的自己以及相伴自己的那些美好事物。没有愤世嫉俗，没有[屏蔽]野心，基诺乐队试图展现的，只是建筑在自身独特世界观之上略带忧郁的情绪。
