The Nokia 3250 is one of the first Nokia devices to be announced with the Xpress Music feature. A music driven phone, the 3250 plays MP3, WMA, M4A and AAC music formats and users can store up to 750 songs (10 hours) on the 1 Gigabyte internal memory. The 3250 supports microSD memory cards of up to 1 Gigabyte allowing users to store an additional 750 songs. Using the Nokia Audio Manager software, users can convert their favourite CDs into digital music files, and drag and drop their personal music collections and favorite playlists directly from their computer. Headphones can be connected to the Nokia 3250 via the 3.5mm connector of the Nokia Stereo Headset-HS-20, making the list of available enhancements even longer. The FOMA SH902i manufactured by Sharp for NTT DoCoMo is the first Sharp phone to utilize Symbian OS.

It offers a 2.4 inch high quality QVGA screen which can be angled to ensure the best viewing position as well as enabling users to move and angle the screen when taking video or photographs. This feature also ensures that screen content remains private as the screen is unreadable unless viewing it at a user-set angle. Contrast and brightness can also be modified either manually or automatically depending on conditions. The phone will also automatically change light settings to ensure that battery life is not drained.

Part of the 902i series, the SH902i offers users the option to experience a number of new services from NTT DoCoMo, including the PushTalk a walkie-talkie-style communication service, with users being able to contact up to 4 other 902i series users by simply pushing the Talk button to display a directory of other users.
The series will be compatible with DoCoMo's new Multi number service, which will enable up to three phone numbers to be assigned to the same handset.
